Life is like jumping into the river for the first time in your life and learning how to swim at the same time with the river’s strong currents and waves tossing you here and there, and you can’t seem to keep your head above water.
Life is like driving a car for the first time in your life, not knowing how and when to change gear, when to accelerate, when to slow down, when to make a u-turn and not even knowing when to brake.
Life is like getting into the boxing ring for the first time in your life, against a bigger opponent (or worse still, opponents), and fighting for as long as you can last.
Life is like a river………………
Are you struggling against river’s current or you are helplessly been tossed here and there by the currents, barely managing to stay afloat aiming for the shore, worse still you are drowning.
Hey...Christ is the life guard, call on Him, and He will answer you, and save you from the strong currents of life’s river and its many river falls.

Hey... call on God, He is the chief instructor, he will instruct you how to start this life’s car, how to maneuver round life’s expressway, potholes and pits, when to change gear, when to accelerate, when to slow down, and even when to brake.
Life is like the boxing ring…………….
Are you battered and bruised, or just dancing round the ring waiting and hoping the bell will ring thus ending the fight, or you feel you can go the distance all alone because you feel your raw power and determination will see you through. Maybe worse still, you are down and out, knocked out cold, hearing the referee count but can’t seems to muster the courage and strength to stand up.
Hey… call on Jesus, He is the chief coach, He will help you out. He will teach you how to box, how to weave, when to dodge, when to block, when to hit out and when to run. And if you are down and out, He will grant you the courage and strength to get up and fight. And you don’t have to depend on your raw power and determination alone, for he will be there to help you, encourage you, and strengthen you. But first you have to have faith in Him.
No matter your situation, be it in life’s river, life’s highway, or life’s boxing ring, wherever you may be and no matter how bad your case seems. Hey… “He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world”.
Just call on Christ Jesus, and believe in Him, hope in Him, depend on Him, and surely, all will be well with you. Amen

Being Positive
The world is tough,
The paths therein are rough
Everyday, everywhere people struggle and strive,
All done in order to survive
Needs and wants are unlimited,
But the means to getting them are limited.
Some people sat the world is like a rat race,
While most will tell you that it’s a hard place.
Success and money don’t come easy,
So also the luxuries to make life cosy.
All this makes me wonder how to acquire,
All the things I desire.
Thus I go to God in prayer,
For Him to send a helper.
For I might not have much to offer,
But then I didn’t come into this world to suffer.
I just have to endure
And very soon I will enjoy.
For I believe I will get to the top,
And that surely I would not be a flop.
All I just need is to ask,
And God will help me in all my tasks.
For my God is a God blessing,
That is full of mercy.
I even believe that all that concerns me has been perfected,
All that is needed is for it to be manifested.
Thus I pray to God to grant me patience,
But he should hurry,
So I wouldn’t get worried.
Now all I need do is to say thank u God!
What else? You may ask.
Nothing, just keep thanking God.

Positive Talk
Life is delicate,
In all what you do always try to regulate,
Always stay positive,
Even if to every situation you are sensitive,
Never be negative,
Instead try being imaginative and creative,.
Take time to meditate,
And to a certain extent try to tolerate.
Cos nobody is perfect.
For what people do to you be appreciative,
In unfavourable circumstances don’t be apprehensive.
In all what you do , put your whole might,
When things go wrong, don’t take to flight,
Believe in yourself that everything would be alright,
Cos at the end of every tunnel there is always light
So don’t take to fright,
You might end a pitiable sight,
Making people aware of your plight.
Always go to where you are celebrated,
And not where you are tolerated.
Try to stay appreciated,
So that you wouldn’t be neglected.
Don’t ever be a pest,
Especially when put to test,
Try to emerge the best
From amongst the rest.
And most importantly,
Trust and believe in God,
And not in dogs,
Or in logs,
Which will only your progress clog.
Cos God is the real deal,
That would constantly give you the real meal.

God’s Own
We human beings are God’s most wonderful creation,
Whom He loves with plenty of passion.
He desires our undivided attention,
So as to give us his divine direction,
That we may get the correct interpretation,
Of his ministrations.
But we have to give him our total devotion,
Which is our heart being filled with God’s own emotion,
That has no contamination,
From the world’s corruption.
He will surely give us his salvation,
After due considerations,
Of the sincerity of our actions.
Then this life’s frustrations
And the world’s lamentations
Will not lead us into temptation
Which is the pathway to eternal damnation.
His free gift of salvation
Was paid for by his crucifixion
Thereby granting us justification from fear of rejection and condemnation,
Victory over the enemies’ oppression and suppression,
And liberation from all forms of detention.
Thus he would unlimit our limitation,
Remove restrictions on our promotion,
Grant us progress in our education,
Success in our intentions
And elevation in our professions.
We will achieve our ambitions,
Attain our aspirations.
Our life would witness the sweet sensation of his glorious manifestation
Resulting in our heartfelt jubilation and victorious shout of celebrations.
Thus, in this life till eternity,
We will always get God’s own total satisfaction,
For we will be God’s own perfect creation.
Whom He loves with plenty of passion.

Show your Love
Hi God, you know I have always being in love with you. Though it’s being like three months since I listened to you last, but I’ve been very busy. And it’s always like it’s me doing the talking at any time we get to communicate, but you understand now, I have so many things that need your urgent attention.
Yeah, I know, it’s even like when I need something that’s when I call on you.
Your book? You mean the one you want me to read always. Em…..well, I read it, but i………I kind of like don’t have time now, but I still glanced at it like 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I really try to always do what you say I should do, but it just seems I do what you say I shouldn’t do more.
Your place? Well………..i always have it in mind to come, but you know, that’s the only day of the week I have to myself; you know I have to do my laundry and some other stuffs, and get prepared for the working week.
Ok, ok, God, I admit it; you’ve got me, am guilty. I know, I don’t wait and listen to hear from you, I just pray, and ask and ask and ask. And worse still, I only pray when I need your help. Am sorry about your book, my bible, it has been gathering dust somewhere.
I know Lord that I have not been doing your will, I always do the wrong things, and coming to church has not featured in my schedule for a long time.
I admit it Lord, am sorry, I know you love me, and I love you too Lord. But help me to show the love Lord and not just say it. Let my desires be towards you always Lord. Thank you Lord.
